Mobile Corkboard: Pinterest

I've been hearing about this "social networking" site called Pinterest. None of my friends had an account (so i thought) and i was really just curious what it was all about. After much debate (with myself) on whether to take on another online account to maintain, i finally caved and typed in the address box - pinterest.com - created an account and boom! There i was... addicted in no time. It was soooooo useful! First i thought i'd use it to create an inspiration board for my 10-year plan. I've been meaning to purchase a corkboard, decorate it and hang it in my room and PIN whatever words/photos i find that are related to my goals and draw inspiration to work harder and keep my eye on the prize. Pinterest was way better. It made it easy for me to find things that i can post on the board and keep with the theme. It's "virtually" a corkboard. Great thing about it is you can download an app for your phone so when you find inspiration, it won't escape you.

You can also create multiple boards! One board for each project. That way it's well organized and you can easily check how far along you are with a plan. This is great for party planning, renovation/DIY projects and piling up on recipes you wanna recreate (that's what i did anyway). The possibilities are endless as Pinterest makes it possible for you to easily search content. The "pins" are conveniently categorized for easy viewing. Whether you're on the look out for some ab work out or a design concept for that bathroom you've been planning to renovate, they've got it all sorted out for you. :)
